Looking for a place to blog?
Hola people of the Internet. This site has served a lot of things in the past. It used to be a total technology site, then it began hosting podcasts I produce, and now I turned it into a personal weblog to capture any aspect of my life. I want to transition it again into a place to allow guest bloggers. The site averages thousands of page views per month, which I find to be a great number for an audience. But, people get tired of posts coming from just one person, so, that’s where you come in. If you want your post to reach those readers then become a guest blogger on tylersmiller.com. It’s totally free and easy to do. You can post on anything you want. Tech, social media, YouTube videos, etc are all acceptable. Showcase your posts and personality to a growing crowd of readers. Your post will also be featured on my personal Twitter and Facebook feeds for more exposure. So, what do ya say? Wanna have a go at blogging? What do you have to lose?
More information can be found at http://www.tylersmiller.com/guest-writers/
If you are interested, please contact me and I will create you an account on the site for you to post.
I look forward to hearing from some readers and I look forward to some new content on the site! Take care.
Website to Weblog
Hello one and all. I am here today to let ya know that I am changing things up. Yes, making some changes. You may have noticed that the header of my blog has changed to state The Weblog of Tyler S. Miller. It used to say something along the lines of Technology Enthusiast. The reason for this change is because I am moving the website to a blog, a personal blog.

What’s the difference between my previous writing and my future writings? Well, for one, I will not be focused only on technology. I am going to use the weblog for posting on anything that passes my way. I will begin sharing more pictures, videos, and other things related to my life. Posts might get more personal and will better relate to my life. Some topics that will come up now and again will be tech, podcasting, running, fitness, health, and social media. But I am not limited to those topics, and no longer am I limited to only technology.
I am very excited to open up posts to a more personal feel and am very excited to share more of my life with the Internet. Be on the lookout for new posts, and you now never know what they will cover. Take care.
-Tyler S. Miller
P.S. On a side note…no more ads on the site. Yes, they are annoying and were in no way benefiting me in a great way. I am now relying on you, my readers, to donate to me and my site if you feel so inclined. Any donation helps and is appreciated. Donations will go to keeping the blog running, because running a website is not free. Thanks for all your support!
iPad Vest
If you’ve been following my blog posts, you should have figured out that I don’t like the iPad for numerous reasons. But I still plan on passing along news related to the iPad. And this goes under iPad news. Scottevest has come out with an iPad vest.
Mashable reports:
Enter Scottevest, the company known for gadget-friendly clothing, and their SeV Travel Vest, which is now compatible with the iPad. When we say “compatible”, we really mean “it has one humongous inside pocket for the iPad”, but that’s what you’re really looking for, right?
Want a vest for you iPad…have 100 bucks to send down the hole? What other iPad accessories or components are coming out? Think any of them are cool or worth it?

Digg CEO Steps Down
Five year Digg CEO Jay Adelson steps down today. An official statement from Jay on Digg’s blog:
After five years, forty million users, and an amazing
ride, I’ve decided to step down as CEO of Digg. With the new Digg
getting ready to launch, Digg Ads doing well, our sales force growing,
our hiring ramping, and the company maturing well beyond its startup
phase, I feel that now is the right time.
He states that over the next twelve months he plans on doing some entrepreneurial work. He thinks with the recession, it is a great time for new companies to come forth, and I guess that by stepping down, Digg accomplishes that. In the meantime, Digg founder Kevin Rose will take over as interim CEO.
Kevin Rose posts on the Digg blog:
I want to be the first to thank Jay for the last five years of amazing
work. You’ve been a great friend and mentor, we wouldn’t be where we
are today if it wasn’t for you. While I’ll miss working with Jay day-to-day I am excited to be taking on
the role of Chairman and acting CEO, driving Digg forward on our
promise to enable social curation of the world’s content and the
conversation around it. We’ve been super busy on the product side
getting ready for the upcoming Digg redesign and delivering our mobile
apps for the iPhone and Android.Thank you very much for your on-going support of Digg, I’m truly
excited about the next five years, big things coming!
Good luck Jay in future projects and business opportunities. He has done good things for Digg, and Digg will move forward.
